I have returned back to the Washington DC area from a short business trip in South Beach, Miami. I do have to say it rated in the top 5 most amazing experiences of my life. A few quick fun snapshots taken of me and an assistant I brought along.

I intend to blog about quite a few recent sessions over the past few weeks I would like to share. I am running at least a week behind normal schedule and will continue to do so the next few weeks.  I have another beautiful album fabric combination/layout to share as well just received for a client. 

Please note I will be out of town on a business trip from Sunday through Wednesday. All calls and emails will be returned within 24-48 hours starting on Thursday. I will try to update the voice mail to reflect so.

Who says 15 month olds are hard to photograph? Alexandria Children’s Photographer, Virginia Family Photographer

15 month old toddlers, while challenging to photograph as they want to go, go, go are still so delightful to work with as perfectly exemplified here. There will and always will be unexpected melt downs - (that can be at any age really) normal in between. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with this awesome family, totally hip mom (loved her style) at the gardens in Vienna, Virginia.  I am also sharing here the very first shot taken from the session and believe it or not the very last one.

I had the privilege of photographing this adoring sweet 12 month olds sister, 3 years ago. It was like deja vu, she is a true spitting image of her older sister. I wanted to extend my happiest birthday wishes for this upcoming Thursday as she turns the big “1″. It was a true pleasure to not only have a returning client but a very warm and receptive visit as well. Next time, I hope to see them both together ;)  As always, I tend to lean towards blogging more black and white portraits as they convey the raw emotion at that given moment, timeless. (Plus I know mom favors them as well) …

    She is so precious - um, and yes adorable! These images really capture what a one-year-old is. Kudos to Mom for capturing this special time (15 comes all too soon, lol!). Custom art like this will look good on their walls FOREVER!
