Medical emergency noted - please read

Please note due to some serious and recent health complications that have progressively worsened, Susan Braswell Photography is closing the calendar and no longer accepting sessions for the remaining part of 2008 at this time. I will post otherwise when I am able to resume sessions. I will be in touch with those who have upcoming sessions ASAP. For those expecting orders, there might be a slight delay. Please contact me personally on my mobile to discuss further. Prayers would be appreciated.

Best,
Susan

    Still waiting on 1 last test result which won’t be ready till next week but so far only 1 came back slightly off. The only thing that is truly scary right at this moment is this is the third day in a row now of non-stop numbness/tingling in both my calves all the way down to my toes. I can walk but don’t think I can drive though as my sensation is very dull so I’ve relied on my other half. Thank you so much.

    Susan, I hope you start feeling well soon! Please let us know when you get some answers. Miss seeing you around. :-(

    Something similar happened to me about 12 years ago. Weird stuff that could never be explained and just slowly got better and was completely gone within 6 weeks. Scary stuff.

    I have an appointment tomorrow with a Neurologist, step in the right direction. My husband has been wonderful taking off work as I can not safely drive. I have never been so scared in my life. {{thank you}}

    Susan, so sad to hear about this. Hope things get better soon. If it means anything, my husband has numbness in his hands always and he’s told it’s due to a pinched nerve in the cervical part of of spine. Too chicken to do surgery and fix it. But it is totally fixable. Maybe it will turn out to be the same for you. Good luck!

    Susan, I’m saying prayers and hoping that things look up for you really soon. Take this time to rest and be taken care of. I wish I was there already so I could be of some help…even if it was just driving you to an appointment or bringing over a dinner or something.

    So I wish I could say I was feeling better. I really was, but the symptoms are just creeping back again. I can confidently say I do have a neck and spine MRI tomorrow and an EMG on Friday. If this continues and the 1st two tests are inconclusive the Neurologist said a spinal tap will be performed. This has been such a roller coaster, I had such high hopes last night and even first thing this morning but as the morning progresses and here I sit and it is just reversing back. Flu like symptoms, fever, my nervous system is out of whack again and the numbness. I do thank you for your thoughts, the NICEST emails, just taking the time to write and express prayers. So many major things have been ruled out but a lot can still be tested. It could just be one real freak nasty virus, one I don’t wish anyone to ever experience.
