Isn’t she beautiful? Happy 1st Birthday this week. Bethesda Baby Photographer, Maryland Baby Photographer

ador-ing
According to Merriam-Webster:
adoring
Derived from: adore
Pronunciation: \ə-ˈdȯr\
Function: transitive verb
1 : to worship or honor as a deity or as divine  2 : to regard with loving admiration and devotion <adored his wife>  3 : to be very fond of <adores her precious smiles>

I had the privilege of photographing this adoring sweet 12 month olds sister, 3 years ago. It was like deja vu, she is a true spitting image of her older sister. I wanted to extend my happiest birthday wishes for this upcoming Thursday as she turns the big “1″. It was a true pleasure to not only have a returning client but a very warm and receptive visit as well. Next time, I hope to see them both together ;)  As always, I tend to lean towards blogging more black and white portraits as they convey the raw emotion at that given moment, timeless. (Plus I know mom favors them as well) …

Came across this last night, end of 2008 year slideshow review of favorites

In 2008 I had sent out to previous clients for a winter promotion I was running at the time, a ‘year in review’ also including favorites from years past of some of my work including, maternity, newborn, babies, children and their families. It is always impossible to fit one in from each and every session but this overall should give you a feel of my style in working with clients. I do highly recommend you have your speakers on, same song featured on my website but thought it was very fitting for the theme. ENJOY!

Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby! Alexandria Virginia Maternity Photographer

Just 1 quick sneak peek from a session I had with this lovely expectant mom and dad in Old Town Alexandria. It was truly a pleasure to meet you today and look forward to meeting your son in a few weeks. I will add a few more in the next few days.  I just {adore} this shot taken …

Heartstrings - {noun} the deepest emotions or affections - Northern Virginia Family Photographer

I had the pleasure to work (and it was indeed fun, reaffirmed by mom and dad) with this family unit of 3. I wanted to post a few sneak peeks of this adorable 8 month old with her mom and dad. I am a self professed black & white lover for the connection and emotion and how it tugs at my own heartstrings which I thought was fitting for the title. There is plenty of color but I wanted to draw you into the connection here. Enjoy!

Tuesday, April 14th - chosen as “featured” blog for the day. Washington DC family photographer

I am truly honored once again, the blog for Susan Braswell Photography has been selected and highlighted as feature blog for the day to give others a glimpse into my work and style of portraiture.  As mentioned in the summary written by the author, I have been dealing with some serious health issues since November 2nd of last year and finally got a diagnosis late February and slowly on my way to a full recovery. Sessions are currently being accepted but limited until around June when a full schedule will be opened up again …

You can find the feature here: http://blogsofphotogs.com/
