“Say Cheese” is definitely not a part of my vocabulary! Fall foliage and 2 beautiful sisters .. Northern Virginia Children’s Photographer, Virginia Family Photographer

By request of the client, what I am previewing are a few sneak peeks in B&W. (go mom) This session most definitely is one of my all time personal favorites for various reasons. These two absolutely beautiful and so well behaved sisters just downright had fun and it shows throughout the whole session. This is just a small sneak peek of so many areas where their playfulness (and seriousness) was captured throughout our time together. I *thank you* and all my clients for allowing me to be a small part of your day, which will I hope create for display endearing moments of your children. A few other sessions will be posted throughout the week, wait till you see them!

(On a personal note accolade and anniversaries mentioned) “I could just stay here beside and love you baby ..”

I just wanted to take a moment to mention a few things that touch me personally, belated and current.  Better late than never I wanted to say kudos, we made it! My husband and I back in September celebrated our 20th year wedding anniversary in Paradise Island, Atlantis Bahamas. It was such a therapeutic and memorable trip. The most serene and beautiful sight I wish I could hold forever is the sight of the sunset on the bluest Atlantic Ocean with sand and palm trees. It truly is my oasis. We are truly blessed to have each other.

This beautiful song in many ways is like my oasis, so I wanted to share the video clip as well as a few snapshots from our trip.

Another mention, as it nears 11:59pm - I have made it through the day better than I thought. One year ago today, I was coming back from two jobs and within hours my life changed what feels like forever. After many months, I was officially diagnosed with Lyme Disease and still continue the battle to this day. It is going to be a very long road ahead, one I wish no one would ever have to experience even for just 1 day. My PSA would be please use tick repellant when outside, near the woods or grassy areas. If I could only turn back the clock ..

I thank my best friend, my husband who has been by my side along with a few other very special friends and wonderful clients throughout the year who have touched my life and listened. xoxo
