Restrictions apply- must be a new client only and live in the Northern Virginia, Montgomery County or Washington DC metropolitan area. It’s as simple as that ..

Stay tuned for an announcement in a few days - something ’simply put’ you will not want to miss out on.

Orange is my new favorite color - and it’s What The Duck Wednesday

I am hereby officially declaring Wednesday’s as “What The Duck” days. Now you must have a sense of humor to appreciate some of the strips I will be sharing. It’s all in good fun, no sense in getting your feathers ruffled.  (pun intendedl)

First, a few more to share of this beauty. I would say orange is an awesome color on her, wouldn’t you. I may sneak 1 more in with a big smile - or save it for later ;)

 and now for your entertainment -

Virginia Baby Photographer, Old Town Baby Photographer - “I scream, you scream .. we all scream for ICE CREAM!”

It was such a beautiful day here in the Washington DC area! I had a session this morning with this sweet 10 month old. She was a little unsure of me the entire session, maybe my shirt was too loud lol. Anyway I asked mom if she had ever had ice cream. No. I asked if she was allergic to dairy products. No. So I suggested as a way to end the session if she wanted to grab some ice cream (homemade custard) and let her “go to town”. Yes! We had quite an audience of “ooohs & ahhhs” of people passing by. She simply put - stole the show.

I will be adding a few more in a couple of days but alas - a sneak peek of a baby and her 1st taste of ice cream.

A taste of the outdoors!

I had a session with a client I had not seen in over 2 years. This time I was able to meet the husband and newest family member. It was so liberating being outdoors shooting again. I am totally over this weather though, a little bit of sleet yesterday and just a few days ago low 70’s with the windows open. I’m ready to see the green grass, beautiful flowers, trees blossomed, the smell of fresh cut grass etc. Hurry up!!

If I did not know any better, I’d say those were tears of JOY! {outtake}

Goooooooooooo Redskins! If you look real hard you will see a star shining down on these boys. Something tells me mom might get a kick (pun intended) out of this one.
